Instructions

  1. Put all that into a HUGE bowl!
  2. Mix it up good, if you can. It's a lot to deal with, so maybe try mixing it in parts
  3. Roll the dough into balls. The smaller the balls, the more cookies you will have, so keep this in mind.
  4. Bake for 8 10 minutes at 325 F.
  5. When they are done, take them out and slightly flatten them with a spatula. (I just patted them down a wee bit)
  6. Remove from pan and cool on wire racks.
  7. Let cookies cool completely before icing.
  8. Mix icing up really good with electric beaters.
  9. If you want to add a little extra, put in some other flavoring and food colouring, as I did, making mine mint oreos with light green icing.
  10. Once cookies are cooled, spread the filling in between 2 cookies.
  11. Keep in refrigerator or freezer.

Cream Sherry, Alcoholic Drink, and Ingredient are my top picks for Oreo Cookies. A common wine pairing rule is to make sure your wine is sweeter than your food. Delicate desserts go well with Moscato d'Asti, nutty desserts with cream sherry, and caramel or chocolate desserts pair well with port. You could try NV Solera Cream Sherry. Reviewers quite like it with a 4.5 out of 5 star rating and a price of about 17 dollars per bottle.
